Business Direction

How content connects to ProActive's business goals.

Content is not produced for its own sake. Every piece published by ProActive serves one or more of three business functions:

1. Credentialing — establishing Richard's intellectual authority with people who have never encountered ProActive. In a market where trust precedes engagement, this replaces cold outreach. A lawyer who has read Richard's analysis of procedural fairness is already partly sold before the first conversation.

2. Referral channel activation — the professionals who read ProActive's content become the referral network. Employment lawyers, HR leaders, and health and safety professionals don't just become clients; they recommend ProActive to clients. The content earns the relationship.

3. Compounding — ProActive's framework (institutional betrayal + procedural justice gap + relational accountability) becomes visible to the market over 20 pieces. No single article carries the whole argument. The pieces build on each other, and the cumulative effect is a recognized ProActive perspective that precedes every conversation.

The Strategic Goal

Re-establish ProActive ReSolutions as Canada's leading practitioner of conflict transformation.

The immediate focus is the Canadian market — BC as the primary geography, national expansion as the 12-month horizon. The referral audiences who matter most, in priority order:

  1. Employment and labour lawyers — highest referral value; require legal credibility first
  2. HR leaders (CPHR/HRPA members) — broadest addressable audience; highest volume
  3. Health and safety professionals — growing psychosocial mandate; regulatory-driven
  4. Executives and boards — approve spend; influenced by lawyers and HR
  5. Academic peers — credentialing function; slower cycle; enables all other audiences long-term
